Written Appraisals

Objectives: Insurance Needs (claims, coverage), Legal Purposes, Charitable Donations, Compliance, Tax Purposes, Business Property Valuations
Onsite Consultation Fee Includes: the initial call, travel up to 30 miles round-trip from Raleigh to the inspection site, primary inspection of items to be appraised as confirmed in the scope of work agreement (whether onsite or virtual), appraised item measurements, digital photography, UV light analysis where applicable, market analysis, and off-site research
  • Onsite inspection fees billed hourly, daily, or at contract based rates
  • 2-hour minimum applies
  • Onsite inspection fees payable prior to the date of inspection
  • All terms and fees are outlined in a written contract, signed by each party
Additional Fees
  • 3rd party experts, authenticators, or consultants, when necessary
  • Travel in excess of 30 miles round-trip from our main site; billed at the business standard mileage rate for North Carolina
  • Per diem for multi-day assignments and out-of-state travel
  • Multiple onsite inspections, additional consultations 
  • Final report delivery - fees payable prior to the time of delivery
  • Publication fees for bound reports
  • Express mail delivery fees 
  • Commercial photography
  • Additional reports for interested parties
        Note: Fees will be defined during the initial call. Completed appraisal reports are typically emailed as a .PDF

          Verbal Appraisals

          Objectives: Value Knowledge, Resale Estimates, Downsize Decision-making tool, Pre-Sale Walk-through* for estate sales and/or direct sales

          Initial Fee Includes: the initial call, round-trip travel of up to 30 miles round-trip from our main site to the inspection site, the primary inspection of items to be verbally appraised as confirmed in the assignment agreement, appraised item measurements, UV light analysis when applicable, market analysis, general off-site data research, verbal delivery of the final report.
          • Onsite inspection fees are billed hourly, daily, or at contract rates
          • 2-hour minimum applies
          • Onsite inspection fees payable prior to inspection
          • All terms and fees will be outlined in a written contract, signed by each party
              Additional Fees
              • 3rd party experts, authenticators, or consultants, when necessary
              • Consultations beyond the original agreement terms
              • Onsite location travel in excess of 30 miles round-trip from our main site
              • Group Presentations: clubs, civic organizations, commercial, government, institutional, or non-profit organization consultations incur custom event pricing
              • Additional consultations beyond the initial assignment agreement terms
              • Final report delivery fees payable prior to report delivery and/or verbal analysis

                Note: All fees will be discussed as the scope of any assignment is defined during the initial call.

                General Consultation

                Objective: Determine if an appraisal is warranted, market overviews, broad estimates
                • A high-level discussion of up to 30 or 60-minutes by phone or Zoom
                • Sales volume and price ranges from the past year
                • An overview of venues for donation 
                • An overview of various resale markets
